2005-2010 Mustang GT Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Install
Whats nice about this system is the charger itself doesn’t require you to replace your stock hood or even modify it. The rotor assembly is 2300cc (which is 140 cubic inches) and uses the Eaton TVS GEN VI rotor assembly. Edelbrock also took some time designing a custom intake manifold with 15″ long runners to increase low-end torque. The head unit is just about maintenance free. You dont have to change the supercharger oil for 100,000 miles and its self-contained!
I had a chance to dyno the vehicle before and after and the power that Edelbrock is claiming is no fairy tale. You’ll have to click the graph to enlarge it but remember, these figure are rated at the tire which is usually 15%-20% lower than flywheel horsepower!
Graph shown is before and after results
I left my dungeon every so often and took some pictures of the install process. The install (from what I’m told) was very straight forward and really easy. The directions were easy to follow and weren’t confusing or misleading which is always a plus. The kit its self showed up on a pallet very well professionally packaged.
This is a picture of some of the parts we took off as well as one of the boxes with parts in it.
